Honestly, we probably needed this loss. It will fuel the boys for this weekend. Losses happen in baseball, and as HORRY and others pointed out, doesn't affect our rpi much. Maybe propels coc to region... Because coots aren't getting in.
The biggest and best loss for us was Pitt. With their bad losses and low SOS, we get picked over them.
We'll get in, relax. And nobody wants to have us in their regional. Jmho, we make a Super this year. Go Tigers!

I should have been more specific. Pitt got beat last night. That's the loss I was referring too. My apologies, I was waiting on the green to clear and typed super fast.
As for Vince, luv him. But losses happen in baseball. Overall, we're probably the hottest baseball team in the country. Oh well, at least monte's daughter agreed with me.

right about us winning a regional and getting to the Supers. For that to happen, though, the pitching is going to have to be a whole bunch better than it has been. But, like Yogi the Berra said, "It Ain't Over Till It's Over."
For all Yogi's "malapropisms", that one actually makes sense, and has been proven true every single time.

I know we all wanted the Tigers to win and felt they should win, but ACC wins are more important than a mid-week game right now.
Sacrificing what "sketchy" bullpen pitching the Tigers have is not worth it with a big ACC series with UVA coming up.
Beating C of C is not going to get the Tigers a regional but getting in the ACCT and winning their Pod will.

We should get in with bc wins and at least one uva win. Coastal would help too. Need Duke and unc to help too. I don’t think we need wins in conference tournament if we get in. Would be nice and would help no doubt.
