No Communication from Clemson on DC

I don’t see a situation where this coach is not on a playoff team. If they were on a team with the season over, it would have been announced by now.

Why would a coach leaving be hanging around a team misleading current players and recruits? Am I missing something?

IMO it is known who it is… like the Riley thing when it happened we knew 20 min after a surprise announcement streeter was being let go. I think this is the same , there’s a select few that know and just waiting for the right time to announce. I doubt the players really know they just prob know a decision has been made I’m assuming . I could be completely wrong I just think that’s how Dabo rolls , he’s already made the call and got his guy before the news wes wasn’t coming back as DC.

I doubt it's a DC on any of the playoff teams and would Dabo go with someone with no experience running a defense? If the next DC is still coaching, my guess would be in the NFL.

I don't think they're on a playoff team. Dabo's probably got his guy and contract details are being worked out. Would be surprised if it's not announced this week.

The coaches aren’t supposed to get back to Campus until this coming week. I’m sure some of the conversations will occur in person, then it will be official.

Also I don’t get why you’d assume an outgoing coach like Wes would be sowing discord. That doesn’t seem like him nor would it be a smart move
