It is sad, and does feel like the end of an era. 2 years ago we lost to Morehead but there was a lot of optimism because major pieces were coming back, Ian, hunter, pj to accomplish goals that many thought were denied in 23. They accomplished those and much more with a run to the elite 8... then this year, we only lost pj, but as you pointed out, many pieces were coming back.
Now, with so many departures, it's not easy to have optimism going into next year. Most, myself included, figure it to be a rebuilding year. That would change if we can pickup that highly regarded player from Nevada and a couple more. Otherwise, we could be looking at a possible nit bid at best.
Meanwhile, we have tons of optimism with baseball and football. AND Tennis... and I haven't given up on softball or lacrosse!!!

Brownell owed those players more than "we weren't prepared". He let down the entire Clemson Nation. He was sloppy, lazy, and contemptuous of the competition. And he got his a$$ whipped. Hopefully, he showed these guys what happens when you are a friggin waste of money, time and respect

I have one thing to say and one thing only. Brownell was not shooting the open shots we had. First half lost that game. The missed shots lost the game. 1 of 15 3 point attempts. I love those kids but they just were not hitting the shots. Brownell is not responsible for that.

But he had control of who was on the court andvthe type of offense being executed. Mid-game decisions are jot his strong suit.

Name the hero that you would have pulled off the bench to give us that big spark. Can't wait.

Mcneese left Wiggins open since they knew he can't shoot. He rewarded them by throwing up brick after brick. At one point Wiggins was 2-11 and chase hunter was 0-3. That's silly for Wiggins to get that many shots. Put chase in the lane of the zone and feed him the ball or something besides Wiggins chucking jumpers......he is just not nearly good enough for his physical size.....
