Germany said Trump will buckle

Not sure that is the way to go with Trump. Public pronouncements that he will back down on tariffs may only spur him to steeper tariffs. It is a personality thing. He fears looking weak and as such he may double down.

He doesn't fear looking weak when dealing with Putin though for whatever reason. I agree with you generally though. We will all go down with the ship. He will be fine though. Germany should just kiss his butt and come to some deal that will probably be nothing, but Trump will say it is great and that's enough.

Oh he got Vlad’s attention with the oil tariff threat . Whether he follows up or not I have no clue. If Russia does not actually come to the table for a cease fire agreement they may go in to effect. DJT wants a Nobel, peace in Ukraine is the ticket in his eyes.

Never doubt his desire for a Nobel, BHO getting one rubs his last nerve raw.

Despite him saying he may run again I think he knows he has this term only. No need for niceties and he is gonna break stuff.

Plus he knows he will be that much older, likely with a shyatt record to run on, and he would hate to lose in the way out. He will just walk away.

That's not the case at all. That's laughable. The people that are talking around him really believe it is possible and are pushing it. It's not some nutty way to now the libs.

Look, given his actions and Project 25 there is no telling what he may attempt. SCOTUS will be the final say, hopefully they remember what the job description is when that time comes.

Im no fan of tariffs, but all these other countries have to do is lower their tariffs to get them in line with ours, yet they refuse to do so and it's our fault? When they get all defensive about us doing to them what they've done to us for decades is that just them fearing to look weak as well or is it pretty much aok for every other country to bend us over as they wish but when we respond we are the bad guys. You can always count on left wing trash to embrace our enemies and hope we fail.

These foreign countries have been suckling the U.S. ##### for so long, they can't survive without the U S. consumer. Relax, no buckling required.

The US only represents 9% of global trade (imports & exports) so IDK why Don thinks he has much leverage. Lot of these countries gonna tell Don to sit on it and rotate.

What are all these countries going to do when they realize the U.S. doesn't need them? What kind of prices will they get for their goods will they get when the people making them around the world are basically "slave labor" and don't have enough money to pay the price?
