It's high time we had a ranking of the most wordiest, long-postingest posters on T-net, and I hereby nominate myself for third place, due to scroll length, if not word count, of my many odes, requiems and ditties, most of which I don't recall writing.
That leaves number one and number two, and I hereby propose that Hauk Tu--- I mean, Tiggity, has overtaken Quozell for the top spot. Granted, this is based on more recent postings, not the entire cannon of either, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Fight me.
Debate me.
Just don't call me late for cocktails.

May she rest in peace. They don't make teachers like Ms Spigner anymore. Heck, they didn't when I was a kid. Her reputation preceded her. The only substitute teacher where students were better behaved than with their regular teacher.

I only knew her as a retired substitute. But she talked and looked a lot like #### Butkus (only shorter), and walked like him. She always kept a pack of Alpine menthol cigarettes nearby in her purse. She taught my dad in the 1940's at Rosewood Elementary school in Columbia. Few more stories....
One day she asked me "Are you Tiggity Sr's boy?". I said, "Yes, ma'am". She then laughed and said "Boy, you must take after your momma, because you ain't nothing like your daddy. He was a hellion."
Another one, she asked some kid something in class, and he answered "yeah". She said "Boy, didn't your momma teach you any manners? You're supposed to say yes MA'AM to a lady!".
