Mahlstedt was getting lucky.

Miami wasn't hitting him, but it was just a matter of time. A submariner can be hard to hit, but he throws too many pitches that end up belt-high in the middle of the strike zone. Miami was about to zero in on him.

I'm 80 years old and haven't played baseball for 55 years, but I swear I think I could hit him.

I’m concerned. We are 8-7 over our last 15 games. Looks like about to be 8-8. We should have waited to go on the early season win streak at the end of the season. I’m starting to think we may not get out of our regional. Please let me be wrong!!
