Funniest thing you’ve seen in Athens....

I was on the Clemson Cheerleading squad When we played Georgia in 1991 in Athens. We pulled up in our bus with Clemson markings. We looked out the window and there was this little old lady that looked like somebody’s sweet little old great great Grandmother. Upon closer look she had a Budweiser in one hand and she was shooting us the bird with the other hand!
We fell out laughing!

and walking from car lot to stadium the Dawgs parked near us called us & our grandmothers names so to get us to fight (which we didn’t) and since Clemson was losing so badly (as normal there) we left game early to get out of town since we didn’t want our or our grandmother’s assses whipped!

After that game, which Georgia won, when we walked under the trestle to our car, Georgia fans were on the trestle spitting on us and throwing beer bottles. They are the shallow end of the gene pool, filled with scum.

for disorderly conduct back in 1995 and Kirby Smart was in there for indecent exposure. He could do that card trick where he can guess your card and that was probably the only thing that kept him from getting beat up by the other inmates.

I remember we were opening up with Georgia on Labor Day weekend the year after we won the 81 natty. The game was 7:30 that night and we left Cope,S.C. At 5am that morning. We pulled down a street near the stadium in our family station wagon with the old square magnetic paw signs on the doors.. My dad sees a old Clemson car with paws painted on it and Beat Georgia at a house. Dad decides to pull over in a parking spot about 20 yards from the house. Beings that we left early from Cope, the family decides to take a nap since the game is still 5 hours before kickoff. We woke up after about an hour to the sound of loud banging. Come to find out, it was a Georgia frat house charging 5.00 to hit the dang car with a sledge hammer !! Needless to say, we eased the windows down and pulled the signs in, then took off to look for the rest of our Clemson party that had just arrived.
