Not using dollars to recruit isn't taking advantage of the opportunity.
Not using dollars to get portal players isn't taking advantage of the opportunity.
Not recruiting portal players to upgrade starting positions isn't taking advantage of the opportunity.
NO ONE is asking for Clemson to take the Colorado or heck even the FSU route.
But you have to be an absolute dunce to not see that Clemson has hindered themselves. 4 to 5 players can make a big difference on a team. We aren't even doing that.
Nice to see them making a small effort...guess we'll see.

Using the portal would be great and helpful.
But if there was ever a subject on Tnet that got discussed ad nauseam, dead horse beaten, and said in so many different ways that there can't possibly be another way to say it, it's that we should use the portal.
And it's got nothing to do with Dabo, or a perceived cult, or an imagined lack of love for Clemson. It's just we all should get it by now - WE NEED TO USE THE PORTAL. Of course discussing portal players and something new about the portal would be great.

Imagine being so naive to think that Clemson doesn't have any problems because they made the playoffs. Our #65 ranked defense would say otherwise. Wanting the team to get better is problem? That is a very interesting take. If you prefer to cheer for a team that is okay with being mediocre, perhaps you should cheer for the team down in Cootlumbia.
