for themselves and the ACC in the Orange Bowl.
Beating UGA would not only legitimize FSU as a real contender next year, it would validate the ACC's outrage with the committee's choice to put Texas/Bama in ahead of them.
Therefore, to suggest FSU should boycott is not only not realistic (and likely impossible contractually) it's very naughty.

for a run next year.
This situation should energize the dog out of a team. Because there's nothing to lose. Surely Norvell can motivate the guys to dig in and play to prove they belong after all this ...

Only idiots or trollers or both have suggested FSU boycott a top bowl

I wouldn't waste too much time on the subject. Those who know it's ridiculous to suggest an ACC boycott of their bowl games over a perceived slight of an FSU team incapable of competing against the top 4 teams have long since reached this conclusion.
PS UGA is going to mop the floor with FSU whether their 2nd string or 3rd string qb shows up. Reality is hard for some. I compare it to the year we sent Kelly Bryant to face off against Alabama and got our collective ##### handed to us. They knew we couldn't complete a pass downfield. And Bama destroyed us. It's not easy being a realist when it comes to my own team's shortcomings. I'm not about to waste any of that gut wrench on a FSU team that shyte on Clemson plenty of times over the years. Recent memory of FSU waiting until Clemson got all the way to Tally before cancelling. But I digress.

after the CU game are prolly the same ones saying FSU got hosed now. All in keeping with the victim narrative du jour.
I agree UGA will be extra salty given Bama and it certainly could get ugly.
And yet it's still a huge moment for FSU. A chance to show theyre more than a patchwork quilt of portal players and seafood snatchers.

The talent differential is far greater than that of the KB led squad vs Bama when you consider Georgia's stacked roster and FSU, in addition to Travis, will most likely be w/o wide recievers Coleman, Davis, & DE Verse(all potential round 1 entries).

FSU's defense is as good or better than any defense Georgia has played this year... they won't give up very many points. Question would be how many times can they get in field goal range

FSU wins - given participation trophy awarded with a pat on the head that says "We're sorry - maybe we were wrong" and ultimately SEC plays it off as UGA didnt wanna be there, half the team left, dog died, etc.
FSU loses - National pundits say told you so; ACC sucks and doesn't deserve one of the top seed byes next year

Georgia barely beat GT and a SC that couldn't criss midfield against Tigers. They have not been great all year.

I’d rather Clemson have 1 win over FSU than 3 over the coots. But I hope FSU murders UGA.

Regardless of how the SEC and the “experts” spun it, an FSU win would be forever remembered, not just by ticket holders, but by college football fans in general. They are already a trivia answer…why not turn a negative into a positive.
And pursuing a boycott would be perceived as chickening out, and validating the Committee’s decision. Taking your ball and going home has always been and will always be a weak move. Would you want Clemson to take this approach? Heck, we crank up the fax machines to get to the Smurf Bowl!
