Sounded like an explosion or maybe even an earthquake. Shook my house. Dogs were in teh back yard and came running in all scared. My office door and windows shook.

There was the initial "Boom" and 5 seconds of it continuing at a lower volume.

For 20-30 miles. People on Sullivan's, IOP, James Island, and in Moncks Corner heard it. That's 25-30 miles in a straight line.
Must be Seneca guns.
