Not sure where Clemson fans are planning to meet but AVOID 4th Street Live. It's an overpriced tourist trap.

Not unique to Louisville but the Mellow Mushroom in St. Matthews (and maybe the one in The Highlands) is owned by a Clemson Grad.

There are 3 bar districts. Mellow Mushroom is in the smallest of the 3, with Molly Malone's a few doors down, Tin Roof across the street, and Gerstle's about 3 blocks west. Gerstle's is the hot spot if you are a 20-something.
