Fourth place is still within reach

If the men win out, and I know that’s a reach, but it’s possible, then I believe they get fourth place and the double bye. They will have the tiebreakers over all teams with the possible exception of NC State, and the Wolfpack has a much tougher schedule than does Clemson. Just need a nifty little six-game win streak, starting tonight.

It's going to be difficult, however it's doable. The game tonight is a bad matchup because Tech loves the 3 ball and Clemson does not defend them well. Let's start with winning tonight and go from there

I'd love us to win out but I'd enjoy seeing us win at home. It has been a weak spot this year.

enter what I sadly call "The Twilight Zone" portion of the season, where wins and losses make no rational sense whatsoever. We can beat a North Carolina, but lose to a Louisville. And, the losses seem to hurt us each year a lot more than the wins help us, with this aborted NET system of rankings now being used. This year is shaping up to be another in the string of baffling late season disappointments. This team is talented, above and beyond what previous Brad Brownell teams have been. Maybe they can pull it out on their own. They will have to, because HE doesn't know how to help them do it. THAT part hasn't changed.

At least this year we didn't lose to Louisville but we darn sure tried to. It was absurdly close. We cann be one of the worst teams holding a lead I've ever seen.
