and I was always delighted when watching him run & score! But, PSU's Papa Joe wasn't delighted in the1987 Citrus Bowl Game when Tracy scored & scored & scored which gave him his worse career bowl loss that day.

Prayers sent. One of the toughest players I’ve ever seen wear the uniform. His hit on the Maryland defender where the mouthpiece and helmet fragments go in different directions would get someone arrested in todays game

Prayers sent...May the Lord be with him and his family during this time, helping them to remember that they will get to spend eternity with Tracy. Yep, remember him in those uga games and against PSU in the 87 Citrus Bowl. Great FB.
Sadly, this reminded me of another very good CLEM FB....Tracy Perry who was killed in a motorcycle accident I think on HWY 378 near Sumter/Lake City. Gone too soon : (

I have fond memories of him being a bruiser at Clemson and with the Falcons. I'm sure the toughness he displayed as a football player has also been evident as he has battled cancer.
