I was getting worried about your scarcity.
Wanted to share the rare wine story with you. I’m clearly not a oenophile, but my wife’s best friend owns a wine store in Cincinnati and she brought a case of some really good stuff to the lake last weekend.
Had a Chateau Haut-Brion (16 or 18–can’t remember) that was so good that even I noticed the difference. I looked up the retail price later and realized that putting a half bottle of that in me was like putting 105 octane racing fuel in a 1987 Hyundai Excel.

Been really busy w work, holidays, hunting season, etc.
Good gravy, you got to experience one of those once-in-a-lifetime bottles for most wine drinkers. First-growth Bordeauxs like HB, Lafite, Latour, Mouton, etc are ethereal wine drinking experiences. I’ve had a glass of 96 Lafite and it was a real kiss on the dick.

Hang onto one and Send you a bottle—sorry. She just brought one bottle of the vintage we drank but had several of the 2020 vintage. She had gotten a steal on them for something crazy like $60 a bottle from her distributor and said they were flying out of the store at $180/bottle.

Switched to it with about 7 minutes to go in the second half. GT hit a 3 pointer to cut the lead to 2. Returned to King of Queens and never looked back. Ugh.
