Prepare yourselves, we will be seeing a lot of it in this offense. The good news is we finally have a QB that can quickly and accurately get it to the WR... here's hoping WR blocking has improved.

It has to happen quickly

Within a half second of the QB getting the snap. And even then it puts a lot of pressure on the receiver to be elusive, to “shake and bake” the nearby defender. Any slower than that (looking at YOU DJU) and the receiver has no time to do anything but brace for impact.

Exactly , it was obvious we didn’t block it at all and usually was an incomplete or negative play… when it works I’m all for it bc you get guys in space and it can really just be an extension of the running game if you can at worst gain 4-6 yards per play but our guys have been so bad at blocking it it’s been frustrating how much we still run it knowing it’s not going to work … I’m all for running it if we are executing it

The screen passes we ran last season were fine.

The problem is the WRs refused to block for them.

We should have sat guys when it was obvious lack of effort.
