For those buying Clemson tickets from tigernet, craigslist, etc..

StubHub is legit, but the fees stink. I'd rather give a Tiger fan more money for tix than that same amount be split between a Clemson fan and StubHub.
Quick point: DO NOT PAY WITH VENMO. Paypal has buyer protection, so pony up $3 and pay that way.
My daughter and I are flying in Thurs for our only Clemson game in Death Valley this year (see y'all in Clt too!). Tried to use the tickets forum here to buy from a fan. It was good deal, maybe a little too good, but when he asked for Venmo and didn't respond back when I suggested paypal because of the buyer protection, it sent up a big red flag. Now another guy was cool with Paypal rather than Venmo, so I'll likely buy from him. Make sure your seller is cool with you having buyer guarantees.
So please folks, be smart and don't let a handful of ######### smeer our awesome fanbase. Still looking for tix, and I'll buy them soon, but I didn't want less knowledgeable (no offense meant) fellow tiger fans getting burned by these bums.
GO TIGERS!!!

Have sold on TigerNet many times. Met in person with cash. Used PayPal and sent the PDF version. Used PayPal and sent next day delivery from the Post Office. All have worked!
Won't say I haven't used StubHub, because I have very successfully. Usually post both places - whatever sells first.

I despise stubhub. Total ripoff.
Youll go buy 2 tickets and see the price and say "Oh man, only $130 for these 2 tickets? Awesome!"
Then youll get to the checkout screen and see your total is closer to $230 after their "fees".
If you buy, then find a better deal elsewhere, and want a return + refund. No dice. Ticket sales operate on a consignment-type model.
No worries, StubHub lets you relist the tickets at whatever price you want, but they dont refund the "stubhub fees". So you drop $130 on tickets, pay another $80 in stubhub fees, for a total of $210. Try to resell them and you're always gunna lose money.
I avoid those ticket sights like the plague unless absolutely necessary, which is never.

Agree meet in person in a very public place and exchange tickets for cash. Have done for years. NEVER a problem. Those that are a problem go away from the email or phone dialog.

assumed it has buyer protection. I wonder why Venmo doesn't...is it because it's not created for commercial use (yet)?
