Maybe this is just how Venables is, but confidence is not really a word in my vocabulary to describe this defense after that interview.........

Anything we learn through these interviews, our opponents learn also. Which means we won't learn a thing of value, and coaches may be purposely misleading with their demeanor.

then you never heard Bear bryant, danny ford, or alot of great coaches poor mouth a team every year. I remember hearing Danny 1 yr and leaving the meeting thinking we couldnt even field a team

Serious question. If depth is a problem would it not be smart for the offense to lay off of the hurry up style.
Although it is a very effective offense it is very tough on defensive players, especially if depth is a problem.
I know no one will take the question seriously because I am a coot. But it should be a consideration.
