Hey, the players earned this trophy, they played hard and deserved everything they are awarded. and for a defense that was on the field for 80+ plays they played good enough to win. go tigers

Earned it? They lost to FSU who won the division. They didn't earn the trophy. They won the other games but not the division. That is why we aren't going to the ACC Championship game. His point is very well made. I get what you are trying to say and they deserve to be rewarded for hard work. The players have been awesome this year and deserve to be rewarded, beat the Coots this week and we will be with a BCS birth.

Agreed 100%! They beat us and lost to the pack. We beat the pack and they beat fsu. Both get a co-champion trophy. It's done in all college leagues for all sports. Makes perfect sense. I like it, more to show off when recruits walk in on visits. USUCK fans would be bragging about this for years if they got it!!

and led/stayed close most of the game. They lost to a team that was not ranked and one that we blew out. I agree that we deserve it. This is not only done with the ACC. It's great for these Seniors and for Recruiting

Definitely not cootish. Coots have no idea what a championship TROPHY looks like. All they know is what 5th place rings are. Silly coots championships are for tigers not lameass chicken ####.

something they were not. That something was to beat NC State. In the days before a championship game, if two teams tied with identical league records, they were both co-champions. They didnt say the winner that the conference champ. This is nothig new for the ACC or any league.
