Today was almost 3.5. Thanks ga dot for working on a guard rail, reducing 85 north to one lane through Commerce.

The "overseas highway" from Homestead to Key Largo is like off-roading on asphalt. If a person needed to traverse that section of highway often, it would destroy their car.
As it's turrible going both directions, I don't know if they are trying to keep people from entering, or from leaving the keys.

Charlotte to to Parents in Sparkle City was a death trap for about 5 years, and I still don't think it's done. My parents always ask me if I plan to move back to SC, and I tell them I've gotten used to having roads and sidewalks.

How's Duncan Park (park not stadium) doing? Last time I walked around there, I ran into one of the engineers that was doing the rebuild, and he told us about all the new stuff (trails, kayaking, etc). Then the storm came, and I haven't been back. We will probably eventually get back to the Upstate, and somewhere around that neighborhood is on the list, if they keep improving. I like a lot of stuff they are doing downtown.

It’s looking pretty good. They lost a lot of trees in Helene. Houses totally smashed, damage to the park, etc but they have been pretty quick with the clean up. The kayak landing and trails are nice. The neighborhood itself is heading in the right direction. I grew up there and would live there again.
