I have my thought but want to hear yours as well.
it’s a childish act by boys who have no clue about real life yet. An entitlement that is more commonplace with social media and cameras getting the “oh look at how much of a goof I am”. Competition is intense but some level of respect must be maintained throughout and after the game is played.

players are usually pretty good about post game behavior given the intense nature of the sport. you are asking for a problem if you try something like that. I was glad the thing at Ohio State didn't get worse than it did with fans getting involved. We do not need riots, melees, or donnybrooks.

Fine ?? Using money as deterrent can work BUT it’s needs to be very very very substantial.
Honestly, minimal $$ 20 Million for disgraceful act that potentially endangers players and fans. It cannot happen. Very heavy police presence must be had during these games just in case

In my opinion let the players do what ever. The thing that disgusted me was the fans. If I go to the game in cootlumbia next yea definitely bringing a rubber chicken and if we win beating the hail out of it with my belt.

You cannot let the players “do what they want”
Did you see Michigan players at OSU ??? Disgraceful and I hope those players understand how ignorant and dumb they are. Yes, dumb kids who have no clue how their acts are viewed by others. It’s game, means nothing in the real world. Yippy, you won. Celebrate and have fun as a team but do not disrespect and case riotous behavior due to petulance.

The practice will end starting next year based on the games yesterday. It caused a fight or near fight everywhere it was attempted. There are tons of non players on the field after a game (we are unique in that we encourage fans to gather at the Paw but every postgame has a ton of non players on the field. Too much risk for the NCAA, Conference’s and schools to get sued because some 115 pound female trainer got injured because of a fight started by a flag planting. You don’t even need Shelly Leake to win that case.

The childish part is the fighting over it.
The only sense of old school CFB we have left is the rivalry heat. Let’s not sissify this thing further by getting butt hurt when our opponent wins and plants their flag.
