Clearly had this point we are incapable or just don’t have anyone on the staff willing to do it. Embarrassingly bad. Actually makes our run defense look good.

It’s bad and we should be embarrassed, but both kicks yesterday that were blocked was on the back up kickers. The ball came out so low they almost hit our linemen. Several of the other blocks this year were when Peter Woods was not in the game due to injuries and our other blockers suck. None of this makes me feel much better but maybe these two things we can control. I do almost feel like I would be more surprised if a kick doesn’t get blocked against the coots.

Our blocking is horrible on kicks, but Hauser is also slow and and kicks the ball too low. The coaches need to go to Pendleton and borrow Danny's stop watch or better yet, invite him to practice to fix the problems.

What about the onside kick? I had flashbacks to the Natty against Bama. The Cid had it, but we stole it back on the ground. That play didn’t surprise me one bit. We put very little thought and effort on special teams and it’s been that way for a while.

It cannot be fixed at this point imo. This is a personnel and coaching change needed as soon as the guys finish the bowl game.
