These wins are nice and all that, but a 5 game winning streak against weak sisters after the 2 of 3 and 3 of 3 losses to quality teams and then the loss to PC that preceeded this "streak" is very worrisome. Reminds me of some other underachieving teams we've had that opened with promise and fizzled. But, at least this season is young. Maybe this will build some confidence. Sure hope so.

I would rather lose to quality teams at the beginning of the year than the end. UVA is easily one of the best teams in the nation right now and the games against SCar could have gone either way. The only loss that we should be worried about is PC and that can happen to anyone. Lets get the losing and injuries out of the way now and make a run the post season.

Guess you'll never be happy. I bet you would have REALLY been all over them had Clemson LOST to Elon. By the way, Elon had won 10 of 12 coming into this series and Clemson was playing without 2 mainstays on the infield, John Hinson and Brad Miller. At one point today, I think it was the 8th inning, there were 5 freshmen and 2 sophomores on the field. There was a freshman on the mound as well as at first, second, short, and center field and sophomores behind the plate and at third.

He always does. More then any other collegiate sport, baseball is a game of "constant adjustments" during the season, the game, the at-bat, and hell, even the national anthem. Jack KNOWS what he's doing. So please, never mind...

and you'll see that Elon has a history of giving Clemson mid-week fits. The Phoenix typically beats us at least once every season.

Did not know that. Thanks for helping me get straightened out. Don't get me wrong, I love my Tigers, win or lose. I've done that for over 50 years now. Go Tigers.
