Allow the schools to pay the players directly so they can sign 4 year contracts.

Done.

at that point you then create a situation where the school will be responsible

for paying every single athlete on every single sport team on campus. Because of title 9. It will kill a majority of the other sports as they'll have to eliminate them.

I don't think this is true. Do all athletes make 11 million dollars like Dabo?

No because Dabo is an employee of the college just like the players would become paying for their own tuition. Other sports would still be scholarship athletes.

Maybe it will kill unconstitutional Title IX in the process. Win win.

Might work if there is a salary cap like in the NFL. In addition, you have to have a way to lock the athletes in so there's no tampering.

That's not simple

We're a long ways from getting contracts implemented and the players will be against it.

Fining the Head Coaches directly

loss of scholarships and the player who is tampered with and moving loses a year of eligibility would be the most impactful and effective for the school and players, IMO.
