Tonight we had my niece's 4yo birthday party in the BIL/SIL's backyard. And given I'm currently in baseball coach mode, I had my kid's equipment and a bucket of balls in the back of my trunk I got out for him and I to play. Then other kids there wanted in on the action, and ###### if we didn't have everybody hitting by the end of the night. Even our young dude, who at 3.5 had only hit off a tee, got up there with the metal bat and was slugging them. I think he even hit the first pitch I threw in there. Solid bat speed for a dude who could barely hold it upright. Gonna see him go pro one day.

Only thing that was missing were fireworks, apple pie, and girls on trampolines.
