There are no 7 or 8 chances to get it right at Clemson. Mess up, and there are some consequences. Mess up a 2nd time, and the consequences are well known, and they are that you become someone else's problem. Great message, IMO.

And that right there is why as a parent I would ALWAYS choose to send my child to Clemson, and I did. You can't help but just love that man. I wonder what the other three programs in the playoffs would have done?

Look at Mixon for your answer.

Which is worse...smoking a little weed or what Mixon did? And Dabo doesn't have the entire state of SC's media showing up in masses having to tell him he's not doing what's right by the players and the program either.

And my point is not that Mixon was not punished..

I realize he was. My point is if a Clemson player did what he did he'd be an Ol Miss player now.

I like how when sports figures mess up, they're kids. But when they do something good, they're young men.
really, really...
they made choices most people should know NOT to do at 4 years old...yes, 4. It's not a shot at DABO, oh no... just the situation..ok.

If you have any interaction with the 18-25 crowd today you will know that no one bat's an eye at weed being smoked or anyone that uses it. These reports that 25% of that crowd have smoked it are WAYYY off base. It's just accepted as the norm these days. Not by our generation (ok, I assume that the avg. age of a T-Netter is probably 40+). My point is there is practically no stigma associated with it anymore.
