Sky is the limit with Deon. Hoping sitting back and watching team play in nc and then observing what happened in this draft motivates him to be the best he can be. He was already performing at a high level but capable of more and could easily be first round material IMO with a good couple of years. Deon hope you light it up this year! Go Tigers!

Dang, first time in really paid attention to his numbers. Average of 17 YPC and a TD every 7 times he got a grab. That is an impressive debut. The frustrating thing is that he was really starting to hit his stride when he was benched. Oh well, if he gets dialed in, and has a few more productive years for us, and a good pro career, it will be a valuable lesson in the end.

He might have.
Truthfully, if he hadn't toed the line, he'd have been gone.
Guy I talked to a few months back was 50/50 Cain would ever make it back. Said he was a good kid with some bad judgment and he wasn't sure Cain could keep his nose clean over the long term.
Next messup, and he's gone. Hopefully it goes well from here on out. Kid is a major talent, but Dabo hasn't hesitated to kick other major talents in the past.

If he messes up again that will be 3 strikes and he should be gone.
But as far as missed time he has missed enough from his last screw up.

Dabosaid, he could have gone anywhere. He could have said to heck with the additional suspension in the Spring after being sidelined for both of the huge playoff games. I'm a bigger Deon Cain fan now than I have ever been.
