Until Ohio State loses, it seems like they stay #1. They are reining National Champion and I guess close games don't count as long as they win. But as I have said before, these pollsites really don't matter til about week 6 or 7. But it is REALLY GREAT.TO BE RANKED AHEAD OF THE SEC! GO TIGERS!!!!!

That was a pretty fluky win for Ole Miss @ Bama with the miracle tipped-pass-shouldve-been-an-INT that went for a TD, and the 5 (i think) Bama turnovers. Also, Saban > Freeze. Oh and Ole Miss got absolutely crushed at Florida. It's not like they lost 28-27 or something.

My thoughts on the game, and season.

Ok, let me start by saying absolutely great win. So that was the 1st priority.
But, with that said. Still a lot of work to do, right.
Solid, solid play by the defense. I think everyone knew this defense wouldn't
skip a beat from last year, and it shows. Only a handful of plays were missed (for
the most part)
Special teams: Still a work in progress** Especially kick-offs and kick coverage.
Wide outs: All we heard was how GREAT this group was, before the season. Unfortunately,
they haven't lived up to that ( outside of Tay Scott) Where's Peake? Is this not his
opportunity to step up after Williams went down? Also, 4 games in--Cain/McCloud "both"
needed red shirts- I understand the recruiting process, but neither 1 was ready to
play this year. That's just me. Thompson needs more PT as well.
Coaching: offensive play calling is a concern. Haven't given up, but the staff is still
learning. Before the season, most thought alot of offensive records would go down. Looks
like they are still trying to find themself, and their identity. Hey hey, I know that was
against a great ND team, but was it a great L'ville team too? Just saying....
Watson: solid performance...but gotta believe his best is yet to come.
Finally, the o-line looked a little better.
Anyways...sorry 4 typos, and once again...good good win.

Sorry, but stuff like this really bugs me. The team shouldn't be criticized for failing to meet UNREALISTIC expectations put on them by homer fans that can't come to unbiased, logical conclusions. It's one thing to expect a good offense (which ours is a bit short of atm), but it's an entirely different thing to EXPECT a school record setting offense. That's 100% on the fans. It's just like predicting 45-17 wins over a team like ND and then coming on here Saturday night and Sunday morning bitching about everything that needs to be fixed with the team because we only won by 2.

I thought before the season if we beat ND the Tigers would be top 5. I will take 6, the balls in our court we are right were we need to be.
Just keep winning and it all takes care of its self.

OSU and Mich play and both can't come away undefeated. Baylor and TCU play and both can't come away undefeated. We're sitting a #6 and two teams will be demoted before the season is over.
Just win baby, we're close enough to strike.
