season's end. Without Manziel and Evans their defense will need a miraculous turnaround for them to be competitive because that unit was atrocious last year.

Total Defense - 109th
Rushing Defense - 110th
Passing Defense - 95th
Sacks - 90th
Tackles for Loss - T99th
Passing Eff. Def - 88th
3rd Down Defense - 78th
Aside from that they were awesome!

It will be hard to climb that far, but it can be done. I think when the ugay game and the free shoes game are wins for us the real accolades will start to come, and we won't have been granted any extra special ranking just because of our conference. very much unlike the secheat teams.

I believe we were, and it's not impossible to make it to the top. It is much harder when the media stacks the deck against you, and it is very hard to overcome all the bias when some of their favorites are still winning meaningless games. Finishing with it all is doable, just difficult when bias exists, and it saturates the airways.

I agree that ESPN (and others) way over-hype the SEC. But after watching College Football Live regularly for the last few years, it's USC (southern cal) that they really lust after.
