You have to like his confidence. He's been an underdog for years and used it to fuel his competitive drive.

He is a leader, there's no doubt. Could start on special teams, prove his metal. He does seem to know plays a lot of times before they are happening, that's studying and having football IQ. However, that's college offenses, can he sniff out Pro offenses the same way and make up for his lack of speed with strength? He will need to work on some speed drills, to get his movement and hips twitching faster to be a pro LB. IMO, It can be done with his heart and drive. I wish him the best, he is a good football player, smart and very tough on the field.

He may not be the most physically gifted player, but he plays with the heart of a Tiger. He definitely loves to mix it up on the field. He's fearless. He loves the rough and tumble. I'll always remember the last second stop against Notre Dame two years ago. And the pick six against Oklahoma three years ago. And the loving embrace of the Action Jackson. What he lacks i stature, he more than makes up in desire and courage. I'd take him any time.

Ben is not anywhere near the top. The "complete" part is his football IQ - he doesn't make plays because he's faster/stronger/higher. He makes them because he's in the right place at the right time.
Throw in a love for the double suplex, and it's complete!

Gotta love Ben. He is right in that he points out plays... often. He is also probably the hardest working and smartest linebacker in the draft. I can't wait to see him crush RBs on Sundays.

He's a smart strong lb but needs more speed and he knows it which is why he's waiting to run the 40. A team with good safeties or prefers to rush lbs will pick him up rounds 2-4. Depending on that 40. Probably a developmental player that could blow it up yearound 2. Safe backup lb year 1.
