Most polls show the majority of Americans favor the deportation of illegal immigrants and not just those with criminal records.
Asking them not to come or to go home and enter legally hasn’t been a smashing success.
Calling ICE agents pigs for enforcing the law seems silly.
What is your solution? Just let everyone stay and look the other way?

It's odd that a person would think they can walk into a country and decide to live there without going through the legal process. If I decided to stay and live in another country I was visiting, I wouldn't be shocked when their law enforcement sends me on my way. Seems a little ridiculous to think otherwise.

it is a little more nuanced than that. LA's Economy would suffer greatly without them. And it is a civil offense, not a criminal offense. So when I see the Gestapo causing disruptions over a dozen illegals standing out in front of a Home Depot, it is good to see the people standing up to them.

Yeah, I overstayed in France and they stuck me in a crowded cell with 30 dudes, no matt to sleep on and I was in there for over a month, some days without food. I was given no opportunity to contact my family, or an attorney, and then they sent me to a Gulag in El Salador.

There are people in plain clothes, masked, snatching people off streets who are LEGAL immigrants or tourists or something and putting them into detention centers (jails, gulags, whatever they are) without criminal charges. Some of the arrestees are having their rights violated simply because of political views, and nothing else.
It's very police-state-like, a violation of rights, and unAmerican.

it is because they have a quota. And the guy doing these jobs are not proud because they cover their faces. And the Big Beautiful Bill had a pay raise for ICE agents, because retention and recruiting has not been going well. But to the point of this thread, anyone who takes that job, deserves what they get.

it is about to get good, I think epsidoe 7-8 the pace fo the show picks up. It is utterly fantastic, but a little slow at times. Season Two is jaw-dropping.

ICE sent a woman to the hospital, shot her in the face with a rubber bullet, another got run over by a vehilce. The protests were peaceful.
Antifia is an ideology, not an organised group. Are you FOR fascism? is that what I am hearing, or are you against it? You see where I am going here, you are either ANTIFA as well, or you are a fscist, which is it?

I neither support fascism nor anarchy. While the protesters were mostly peaceful, there is nothing peaceful about throwing concrete at law enforcement or defacing property with the idea of Antifa.
LAPD put down the crowd from what I gather, not ICE. I guess the LAPD is fascist for doing their job?
MLK Jr was the model for peaceful protest and civil disobedience, this crowd, not so much and I don’t think what went down previously in Portland and Seattle( Chaz) is going to fly going forward.

And no, I do not support any violence by any protesters against police or even against masked federal "agents" who are carrying out the fascism.
The Trump administration wants this conflict as a photo-op so that they can continue to try to justify taking away our rights.
