for this season. I re-watched Trevor's first pass completed to Tee Higgins against Texas AM. There is no way that ball is complete to any of this years teams receivers. Tee is/was a great wide receiver. I think having him would have completed this years team.

I don’t know if any one WR would’ve helped with all the disastrous turnovers we had…..you know, the ones that directly led to a score for the other team.
At one point, I believe we had given up like 70 something points as a result of turnovers. Not sure even TH could have overcome that…?????

50/50 balls into 90/10 like Higgins, Mike Williams, etc...
Cade is no TL or DW - but he also has no one who can bail him out if he just throws a pass in their general direction.
With an elite receiver - we win all of our our games (maybe not Duke - that one got off the rails for many reasons...)

Why are you asking about a healthy Higgins? He’s been gone for a few years now? Who knows Cole Turner or Antonio Williams would’ve definitely helped this team. The Miami and NC State games are the ones we definitely should’ve won

I just happened to rewatch T Lawrence first pass at Texas AM to Higgins

Then I saw a few more incredibly catches by Higgins. Only an elite WR could have made that catch. We have nobody on this team capable of that catch. Tee made many incredibly catches. Our QB has nobody like that to help him.
Despite the turnovers, we were in every ball game. Who knows what happens if we have one WR with that capability. We need a big time WR next year.

We’ve had open receivers on nearly every pass play. It’s not that Cade doesn’t have open guys, it’s that he’s panicking and not buying time or surveying the field. The QB needs more development and until then it doesn’t matter who we have at WR.
A better way to ask this is - if we had Trevor Lawrence would we be undefeated? Not 100% sure with the crazy RB turnovers, but one thing is for sure we’d be connecting on many more passes and further downfield.

I don't like playing the "woulda, coulda, shoulda" game, it is too Cootish.
Butt, I will say, Tee Higgins, and even moreso, Mike Williams had that greatest of qualities in a receiver. That is, "When the ball is in the air, it is MINE, and you ain't gettin' your hands on it!"
