Defense - Run defense was excellent. Interior line is elite+. Edge was good. Thomas was hard to stop.
LB’s covered wheel route really well.
DB’s were excellent. Loosing Wiggins in overtime May have been difference in game.
Offense- Won line of scrimmage, especially late.
QB - Played really well.
WR - Made great plays on short game. Still no guys that can go get 50/50 long balls. Need a Tee Higfens type.
Kicking. Won kicking game minus the one miss.
Other - clock management was a shame. And play call on 3 and 1, 4th and 1. Using timeouts earlier came back to haunt us.
Overall- Played really well. Good enough to beat an elite team. Clock management, time o it usage, critical play calling, and a missed kick did us in. Felt bad for team. Fought like crazy.

Right before halftime, we crossed midfield. Why did we not line up to spike the ball? Give Gunn a shot at a long one since that’s supposed to be his forte. We just stood around dazed and confused. It was like after they wasted all the time, they began quickly try to line up but by then it was too late.

Pretty much spot on
Agree that we had poor clock management in the second half BUT I don’t think the clock management really cost us that much.
I would have liked to see us spike the ball after ships’s run and throw a ball up at the end of the game, but honestly that probably had more downside than upside.

That game hinges on crucial mistakes.
1. Defense at the end of the first half so bad that the head coach felt led to hammer the DC’s call in his halftime interview - cost us 7.
2. Tailback didn’t know what he was supposed to do, leading to a QB getting crunched and giving up the mile-long scoop & score. Cost us another 7.
3. We had an undersized DB covering their best WR in OT. Another 7 and the game.
We are unprepared. We are poorly coached.
