I think this is definitely one of those type of games that makes you go back to the drawing board. And yes, I understand it was a night game in Tallahassee with a lot on the line (Dabo overtaking Bobby Bowden for all time wins in ACC history, smoke about FSU not wanting this game as they have hung their cleats for the season, etc.) I just get upset when we don’t see the standard that Dabo has set on both sides of the ball. And I’m sure by Dabo’s reaction to whatever was being said to him in the 4th quarter he wasn’t happy about it, either. I figured we would have one of these type of games on the road in a tough environment against a team with nothing to lose. But who really cares what I think? Sometimes it’s just good to vent on Tigernet.

However, just want to point out one point of contention.

Obviously there are moments and plays in this game that could've gone better, but the STANDARD is to play your individual best (be it coach or player) and win the game if possible. Of course, we can point to issues, but at the same time, we just went on the road and played a team full of 4 and 5 star players and won with FSU never having the lead or being within 1 score after we stretched the margin in the first quarter. We managed the game and won. We should ALL be happy about that.

Dabo and staff will coach the snot out of the team this weak. WF beating wuffies will catch everyone’s attention. Expect better execution next week. 🙂
