Not sure how many more ways we could have given that win away. Every year everyone tellsme "this is a new team...new players...new year.etc etc...no way we are Clemsoning anymore. And every year at every beginning to a game, I have this horrible feeling in my gut that the train is going to derail at any moment for unknown reasons...mainly due to historical fact....and just when you think everyone is right...boom there it is...at the worst time/situation possible. I try to tell myself its different...but the cold hard facts throw it right back in my face. The game was won even with the two missed field goals but something stupid happens.
Regardless the D looked fantastic. Watson is the man. Major good plays. Kicker needs to be replaced with my grandma. I am more optimistic for our future and look forward to beating the Gamecocks. My nerves are shot. J. Winston is a POS.
I couldn't agree with you more. Some bright spots for sure, but I have to say the shotgun formation on the 1 inch line is just ridiculous. You can try to focus on the bright spots, but the fact is that Clemson should have won this game and didn't. It was right there for the taking. I have a headache....I think everybody is just tired of having so much potential and things just not coming together. Last year was a great year, but had the dark cloud of the USC loss. This year - the embarrassment of GA, and now this. God, I wish Cat man was still there!!!
