Headed up to Boston

Will be flying in on Friday around lunchtime and had a few questions for those who have made the trip and/or are familiar with the area.
Question 1) Will there be tickets available around the stadium or should I purchase them from their ratty school website?
Question 2) Question 2 is not really a question just an open space for folks to give recommendations on where to eat and drink and so forth.

I seriously doubt you'll find tickets outside the stadium

but I would rather have an ugly BC ticket in my hand before I travel so I paid face
Some places I have on my list but none are near Chestnut Hill:
Regina Pizzeria, Sam LaGrassa's, Neptune Oyster, Monica's Mercato Pizza, Union Oyster House, Harpoon Brewery, ...
It is a hike from the T to the stadium if you are getting there that way

I'm sure to get a smile from the bartender with a "wait you don't know my name?" line. Will practice it in the hotel mirror before heading down there

I wouldn't bother going out to eat.

Take a sack lunch with you, and then you know what you're getting, and when you're getting it. Maybe some fried chicken and some peanut butter sandwiches. As far as drinking, the hotel and the stadium both should have free water fountains. Or, at least, a sink in the bathroom.

Save your money so when you go to Louisville you can eat the freshest seafood to ever garnish a plate.

Lord Hobo, Sunset Tap & Grill, The Publick House and Legal Seafood. The North End for Italian.
When I remember the bar that all the Clemson people tailgate I will tmail you.
Go to Southie and say Whitey Bulger is an Irish prick.
