DJ was mediocre last night.
I don’t know why we keep hearing talk about how much better DJ is this year than last year.
He was 8-0 this time last year at Clemson. Yes, we saw some flaws in that undefeated eight game start.
Then HE got his a$$ kicked in South Bend.
Compare last years stats with this years stats. Completion percentage dropped a tiny bit and yards per attempt went up a tiny bit.
Bottom line is he’s not a lot different than last year. Mediocre and inconsistent.
Great second string college QB.
Great first string NFL punter. And that’s not an insult, that’s just where he will have the best career.

LOL, all he has to do is hand off and play action off the run; since they have a really nice OL. He'll do well there. He will not be a NFL player. Too slow and is limited on his throwing ranges.

I agree with most of the things that you post, but you overindulged last night drowning your sorrows, if you think they end up with the same record. A lot of the luster may come off DJ after Washington and Oregon, but Cade still has ND and UNC if he even keeps his starting job the whole time.

All I have seen is him get sacked and throw 2 wounded ducks and one at the receivers feet. One almost picked. Not sure what game you are watching.

He still underthrows receivers and takes too long to deliver the ball.
He has made a few nice throws too. OSU looks good. They'll go to a better bowl game than Clemson this year.

Something a lot of people on TNet seems to forget - the other side plays to win also. Arizona is a tough out, they almost beat USC. They played to win and believed they could, so they did. Amazing what a positive coaching atmosphere can do.
