I used to remind the kids when it was a week away. Felt obligated because I had custody.
I still do when her birthday approaches even though they are all out on their own.
Not doing it for her, but the kids. No reason for them to have to listen to her whine an complain for a whole year.

If I ever got a divorce, now way in hades I am marrying someone with kids. Maybe grown kids out of the house, due to my age, but I am not raising some other dudes kids. That is his job.
