DJ is going to be our starting QB not just next season, but for the next two years. And secondarily, that Streeter, Grisham, Spiller, and Austin are going to be our offensive staff next season.

But I believe that you could randomly select an able bodied 20 or 30 something male who was an athlete in high school off the message boards and practice them up for a week and they would be able to get darn near close to 8/29
That’s historically bad.

that I can hit a RB in the pads with a 5 yard swing pass 85% of the time, which is far better than DJ.
Now the 30+ yard stuff.....ehhh, I'll leave that to you 30-somethings with better rotator cuffs.

There’s 0 chance. Firstly, the staff keeps covering for DJ and excusing his play and second, if Cade was even remotely ready to play, he’d already be playing.

There’s no way Cade could be worse than DJ this season just like there’s no way TP could be worse last season, and yet Drew freaking Swinney gets more playing time in two games than they do in a season.
Dabo has his Kyle Parker goggles firmly on when it comes to DJ and his coaches aren’t going to call him out on it because they know they won the Dabo lottery just to have the jobs they do.

For any particular player, you’d better pray they are good, because you’re going to see them on the field for a few seasons no matter what.
If Cade had just gone to Dabo before the season and said his parents were abusive and he had low self esteem as a result, this could have all been avoided.

this is not a good fit for him. If I were in his shoes, I would want to find a coach/team with an offensive scheme that’s a better fit for my skill set.

and I have been of the opinion for some time that Dabo will make needed changes in the off season. Now, I'm not so sure about that second part. Today, by mid-3rd quarter, it was obvious that DJ was struggling, and he needed to sit if there was anything close to a temporararily viable option. Yet, the decision was made not to exercise that option, even after DJ was injured on top of his poor performance. That makes me think that DJ will never be replaced, no matter what.

DJ sucked out loud today. 8/29 for 99 yds is abysmal. Streeter’s take that DJ ran his ### off makes me shake my head.
He was worse in this game than against Syracuse, yet he was left in the game. Why?
The turnover problem definitely caught up to us today.
We deserved this L. Hopefully some good will come out of this.
Mediocre was the standard today except for the RB’s and the rush defense.
