Ever Since the LSU Championship Game

Before the LSU Championship game, our offense and defense would line up and dictate to the other team that we are better than you and we are going to destroy you. That changed in the LSU Championship game. Venables changed his defense to a 1 linebacker scheme allowing LSU's offense to dictate to us how to play. And ever since, we have allowed other teams to dictate to us how to play offense and defense instead of us being the dictator. Along with it has come inconsistent play on offense and defense. Lack of confidence and intensity, vulnerability, and losses. Could be a talent level thing, but I think it's a coaches mindset issue. We are better than you and we are dictating the play on both sides of the ball. Now, we have no fire, no confidence, and we are letting the other teams dictate us.

LSU was better, Trevor had a below average game, but not sure we could have beaten them, seemed they could score when needed. That was not the start of things going downhill - just losing to a better team. Deshaun, Trevor and the Power Rangers covered up a lot of deficiencies. We've never had an elite OC, Tony, Jeff, Streeter and Riley are Dabo's autobots. We won with talent and heart, both of those are in short supply.
