Some prominent serial killers named Wayne include:

Wayne Williams: Convicted of two murders in Atlanta, Georgia in 1981, and also suspected of being responsible for at least 24 of the Atlanta Child Murders that occurred between 1979 and 1981. He is currently serving a life sentence.

Wayne Adam Ford: A former long-haul truck driver who murdered four women between 1997 and 1998, according to Wikipedia. He was sentenced to death in 2006.

Wayne Nance (The Missoula Mauler): Suspected of committing multiple murders in Montana between 1974 and 1986, though he was never formally charged. He died in 1986 during a home invasion.

John Wayne Gacy (The Killer Clown): While his first name is John, he is widely known by his middle name Wayne. He murdered at least 33 young men and boys in the 1970s and was executed in 1994.
