I wouldn't want to change our philosophy in how the OCs use the running backs , but could you imagine if ETN recieved 20-25 carries a game ? He'd go over 2000 yards a season with relative ease .
He's also catching the football out of the backfield extremely well this year , which is a nightmare for opposing defensive coordinators down the stretch here .

If ETN had those 80 extra carries, with his 8.73 avg a carry, he would have 2033 yards.

Love that the staff doesn’t abuse him. Mainly because we’re not a one trick pony. He has been super catching out of the backfield. If Trevor leads him a little more on that long pass against NC St, that’s 6.

If Juniors are going to leave early, Dabo will allow them to run down with the Seniors if they will graduate in December.

Yep, if they are graduating that year. Watson did it in 3, others have had another year, due to redshirting.

One of my favorite Clemson RBs ever, but NFL careers are short, and even shorter at his position. He should go make his money. He's going to leave with several career records in only three years as it is. We will be fine with Lyn-J, Mellusi, Dukes and Bowman.

Unless your Darren Sproles or Frank Gore (through all the injuries). 2 completely different looks/approaches but both survivers, nonetheless.

Of my rudimentary calculations are correct, if one accounts for his average per carry: if Etienne had as many carries as the Oklahoma State RB, he would have about 106 more carries. Multiply that by his average, and you get roughly 925 yards. He is also averaging a touchdown on roughly 9% of his carries. Therefore, at his current averages, if Travis had the same number of accrues as Hubbard, his stat line would look like this:
2200+yards 23+TDs
He would be the run away Heisman winner, and it would be close.
P.S. This also doesn’t account for the four (possible) extra games he would have as well.
P.P.S. If his current yards per carry continues at his current average per carries, and Travis gets four more games, his 15 game stats will look roughly like this:
1825+yards 19 TDs
Incredible.

Imagine if he played in the fourth quarter when defenses are worn down.
