The Oline has hurt him this year, as has the new qb to work with.

Has nothing to do with the qb. The 2 fumble tds were his fault because he is looking up field before he batches the pitch. The other one he just lost the football. Qb had nothing to do with it unless DJ pitches the ball to hard as well. lol

So are we going to ignore the fact that on the two fumble TDs were because Will Putnam’s inability to get around on the pull which allowed a defender to literally barrel down to ETN??

I agree. If only he had a whole 1/2 second before he was going to be hit.

Leave ETN alone! How many big plays has he made in his career? He will redeem himself. He is the best back in the country IMO. Everybody needs to chill out for minute. So we lost a game. The season is not over.

I doubt Etienne's fumbles have cost him anything. His troubles running between the tackles probably have. But he's made up for it with his pass catching. All in all he probably ends up getting the same draft spot and money this year that he would've gotten last year, which ultimately sucks because that's one less year he'll make pro money.
Anybody who is projected round 1 or round 2 should bolt as soon as possible if they want to maximize money. Fortunately Dabo has a history of finding guys who are loyal and aren't all about the benjamins.

Running between the tackles is difficult when no one can block. Remember Dalvin Cook and Cam Akers at FSU ..... not much success with that O-line.

If he is, the blame lies at the feet of the softest hogs up front. These guys are a huge disappointment. Carmen has lost money and Stewart should be at Newberry. The other freshmen need to live up to some of their hype or look to lose their jobs next season. The Clemson offenseive issues start and end with the horrible oline play period!

As others have said, ETN is probably fumbling out of anxiety of getting crushed in the backfield or not looking the ball in because he's too busy peeking for any holes. If we as fans can all see how bad the OL is, he surely knows alot better than we do
