I have heard from a few people that Gameday won't be on Bowman Field. Is this true and if so where will it be?

that GameDay will be back on Bowman which doesn't interfere with parking or tailgating.

I'm not sure how easy/difficult it would be for the network to get all of its trucks, equipment and personnel in there.

that amphitheater space is.
#1 there's NO WAY you get all those people in that area.....just go back and look at how many fans were on bowman........LOTS. (go look at a satellite image of bowman compared to the amphitheater space, might surprise you)
#2 getting trucks to that space would be bad....the gameday set is bigger than people realize

it won't happen. But in terms of occupied space, Bowman was only 1/3 used max and that was people spaced out. Amphitheater would require people to pack in a little more, but you can also use the hill behind the amphitheater for more space.
The one huge plus of the amphitheater is you will be able to hear the GameDay crew if you aren't right near the set...

i don't think they'll be anywhere other than bowman, but if i had a vote for a 2nd location it'd be the practice field with the stadium in the background

Also, an emergency slide down the Chic-fil-a for potential recruits.
