ESPN 25 most important players to 2024 CFP race

No Clemson players made the cut on ESPN's 25 most important players to the 2024 CFP race, but Cade Klubnik was listed among "other candidates" for the category labeled "quarterbacks with a potential game-changing leap in them."

Relevant to Clemson possible there, Miami's Cam Ward made the ranking as the Hurricanes are a growing popular pick to compete for an ACC crown this year:

"You can make an easy case for both a Ward and Miami breakout campaign this year. Ward and Oregon State transfer Damien Martinez will form one of the most high-upside backfields in the sport, defensive tackle Rueben Bain Jr. is a star and Miami plays only one projected top-30 team on the road. If Ward lives up to his billing (and if he's allowed to), the Hurricanes could make their own game-changing leap. But this is a rake we've stepped on before."

Georgia WR Dillon Bell made the ranking in the "potential stars in need of a breakthrough."

Not on Clemson's schedule this year, Georgia Tech QB Haynes King made it in the "spoiler quarterbacks" spot. The Yellow Jackets play FSU, Notre Dame, Miami and Georgia this year.

The media loves to say Miami will beak out. They havent in years. I doubt it will happen this year

Brandon please don't say that you were shocked by no Tigers being mentioned as a most important player. If they had mentioned a Clemson player, that would have went against everything that ESECPN believes in!!!
