FWIW: I got on Warchant yesterday, and FSU fans are complaining about EJM not making his reads fast enough to beat CLEMSON. There were numerous fans in agreement, and few arguing that point.

Interesting IMO. Of course, I think FSU has a better chance with Trickett than EJM. I think we shut EJM down in the first half, and if FSU doesn't switch QB's, then CLEMSON gets the "W".

but keep getting the pressure on him for quick throws. But without run support, we wouldn't get the typical pressure without exposing a WR every so often

This is all true. And as another poster said, EJ doesn't do well when the pocket is collapsing. In his favor, EJ is mobile and will have designed runs called for him... and *if* he has time, he'll pick apart almost any secondary. You gotta pressure him, giving him different looks, etc. Venables knows all of this.
