I just saw all the messages on here from last fall regarding his scam (the thread is archived now). I also just saw the article below about him getting arrested. I got burned by him several years ago on some Masters tickets. I have a lot of documentation from my contact with him, if anyone knows who I can send it to. Does anyone have any information on this case?
Just contact the Charleston County Sheriff's office at 843-202-1700 and ask for the detective’s office. One of them will know who the detective in charge of the case is and will get your information and he/she will return your call if they are not working. You can give them all the info you have and they will forward it to the prosecutors etc, etc, etc.
I was a lucky one who saw through Dwayne Potts. He was very convincing. I had several phone calls and texts concerning Georgia Clemson tickets. We got near the weekend and when I said was going to call Clemson and verify tickets.before paying.. he sent me an awful picture of his mothers smashed face and said he was on the way to the ER... and she needed the money that Sunday... RED FLAG.so When I called that Monday Clemson ticket office they said he was to have no communication with mothers account for tickets. I had researched his name and thought several names were used and a previous arrest was made. Glad he was caught and hope people get paid back.
