A guy shooting out of his mind or making heavily contested shots is one thing, but the dude had like 6 of his 8 shots as dunks where he was all alone.

Glad we won and a gritty performance at the end to hold on, but it was a head scratcher to give up so many dunks underneath.

I think they were focusing their defense so much on Donald Hand by far their best player that they were not covering Hastings as much including boxing him out. They shut down Hand, and Hastings was lose too much.

Hastings is a really good young player. A load at 6-8 and 240LBs.

the scouting report was not a big threat

obviously he took advantage of double teaming the driving BC guards and got the passes by coming to the basket. He wouldn't have lasted long if they called any of the moving picks he made. He would pick one of our guards and keep muscling him four or five feet after contact. I agree he is a more athletic Schiff and would like to see him develop. I don't know if BC can keep him next year.
