Y’all want to fire Dabo. Get a grip on reality. If you think we have to win or make it to the national title every year to be considered a good football program you are beyond delusional. Y’all are way too concerned with seeking the approval of Paul Finebaum and other moronic sports pundits. Guess what Finebaum and those other morons have never liked us no matter how we are doing.

The transfer portal had nothing to do with the loss. The only thing the transfer portal could have helped was with backups at the linebacker position. And part of the reason we need backups at LB is we had to kick a LB off the team for inappropriate behavior. So that’s something due to unforeseen circumstances. Colorado and FSU winning one game isn’t proof that depending on transfers works. Also, both of those teams poached players, with Deion Sanders running off half the team when he came to Colorado. At some point we will have to use the transfer portal to address depth issues when we have players transfer. But you’re not going to build a roster by depending on transfers.

As far as the offense, oh it’s very concerning how they performed. But let’s put something’s in context. We are still breaking in a new QB who only had his second start Monday. We have two WR’s in Beaux Collins and Adam Randall who barely played last season due to injury. And it’s only the first game for Garrett Riley as OC. Sorry but sometimes when you have to change OC’s the problem is not going to get solved over night. Keep in mind in Chad Morris first game as OC the offense did not look good, but then went on to be excellent. The main concern for the offense is the ability to throw the ball down the field. We ran the ball good, but had two terrible fumbles inside the ten.

We still have a roster loaded with talent. We beat ourselves Monday with turnovers, two blocked FG’s, and some missed tackles on defense. All those things can be fixed in a short amount of time. It’s one game and we have two tune up games before FSU. So all is not lost.

Back to the moronic sports pundits. Let’s go through some of the things they have said about us over the years: Dabo is a D+ hire. Oh, that Dabo he is just a cheerleader. Oh, they just have good skill players. They missed their shot at a national title with Tajh, Nuk, and Sammy moving on. Oh, they are just winning because of a once in generationa talent in Deshaun Watson. They won’t have lasting power after Deshaun Watson moves on.

We saw how wrong all those proclamations were. So take some time off from social media and message boards, and stop obsessing with seeking approval from people that never liked us and who downplayed all our accomplishments.

I haven’t been on tigernet in about six years and I see that nothing has changed with the toxicity on here that was going on while we were in the midst of winning two national titles within three seasons. This anti Dabo rhetoric on this board is beyond ridiculous. We have had at least ten wins a season since the 2011 season, won two national titles, made 4 national title game appearances, 6 straight playoff appearances. We are coming off of an 11 win season, an ACC championship, and an orange bowl appearance. There was more positivity on Tigernet in the 2000’s during the underachieving Bowden years than there has been during the greatest run in football history under Dabo. Maybe that has to do with the nature of social media, I don’t know. Sorry, but Dabo ain’t going nowhere. And let me remind you every time Dabo has been doubted in his life he has proven the doubters wrong. So doubt Dabo all you want. Seriously get some perspective on life. Get a girlfriend. If you have a girlfriend or wife go spend some time with them. Quit obsessing over social media over people who have never liked Clemson. Enjoy and appreciate what we have accomplished under Dabo. I know this post won’t make a bit of difference with the toxicity that’s been on Tigernet over the past ten years. But, I just felt the urge that someone needs to point out the absurdity of the attitudes on here over the absurdity of wanting to get rid of Dabo who over the past 11 seasons has been one of the top three coaches in college football along with Nick Saban and Kirby Smart.

there are but a few who want Dabo fired and they are not real Clemson fans. They are the bandwagon elitist who will leach onto the next big thing and I say good riddance, hopefully soon.

No real fan wants Dabo fired, at least not a true Clemson fan. Losing to Duke is bad, failure to use portal if needed, agreed, but fire Dabo is an insane thought after what he has meant to this program. If he meddles in the middle of the pack a couple more years then we revisit this idea, but in no way is that even a discussion. Get a grip, it is just a football game....albeit my beloved football team but I will wake and continue life and be glad in it. Do not wallow in self pity over something you have zero control over, it will drive you mad.
