And I would love some support on this.
It is downright idiotic to call people coots on here just because they cheer on the ACC. There are a lot of Clemson fans that support the ACC (There are even a bunch of fans on here who want the ACC to do well too.) but that doesn’t mean that they are undercover coots.
People on here are hypocritical too. For instance I made a post about a month ago about how I wished that our softball conference did bettor in the NCAA tournament and people gave me crap for it. This is where one poster on here first started calling me a coot btw. Another poster even came up with this ridiculous notion that I was somehow dissing on our lady softball team??? Like WHAT? If you read my post you would see that I said nothing bad about our softball team, in fact I actually stated that I was proud of them. But for some stupid reason this small group of people just wanted something to complain about.
So you would think that after them throwing a fit like this, that they would do the exact same thing to other posters who posted about the ACC. Right?
WRONG. After a couple weeks go bye TonyCrumpton® puts out this amazing post about the pride of the ACC (You should read it by the way. It’s a great post. https://www.tigernet.com/clemson-forum/message/acc-points-of-pride-36938711 ) and guess what? There is not a PEEP from these people who gave me crap a few weeks earlier. Not that they should but I will say that it is hypocritical to get onto me about wanting the ACC to be bettor but not go after someone else basically saying the same thing.
I’m just making this one post to call out this type of BS. I know that they’re people on here that agree with me so PLEASE say something if you do agree with me. Because if all the people who agree with my post say nothing. Then this post will be just be filled with hate from the people I’m calling out.

Only a fool is unable to see the value of when the ACC does well in any sport. Once upon a time it was a really good Baseball Conference. Like really good. Once upon a time in my opinion it was the best basketball conference. Like the best. And once upon a time I think when the ball was spotted the top football programs were on par with just about any conference even though the Big Ten, SEC and Notre Dame always got more hype. That's said, I will never engage in the level of idiocy that the "SEC, SEC!!" fans seem to engage in. For instance your average South Carolina fan that for years was unable to ever think about beating us would always default to " well you just wait until our big brother Alabama beats you in the national title game this year!" Because, you know that's a sick burn if there ever was one LMAO.. Look, I saw your post earlier today. Don't let it get to you. Heck, I don't care if you are in South Carolina fan personally. There are a couple that come on here did I think are good members of the group. Some might not agree but I always find them respectful and with rational opinions. That's one of the reasons that I always disliked the Gamecock board. If you were honest and declared yourself a tiger many of their members would act like children rather than engaged in Friendly Sports banter. So hey, you do you. If you want to pull for the ACC as a whole? You do that. If you want to pull for the Chickens, do that to. And hey, if you want to play with the same team that you are a member of... that's your business too. Just be a good member of the site and as far as I'm concerned we are good...Go Tigers!

Thanks dude. Its nice to know that there are some sane people on here. After weeks of these people heckling me about stupid stuff. I just had to make one post calling these people out... I just had to say my peace. Now that I have said my peace. I will now ignore everyone who tries to continue heckling me.

LOL. OMG dude. You are a freaking hypocrite. You did NOT just tell me that I’m not ok with other peoples opinions. YOUR the one that can’t stand people having different opinions dude. You’re the one that freaked out and called me a coot just because I wanted the acc to do well.
You know what the differences between me and you is? Is that I don’t care if people have a different opinion from me. I tend to cheer for the acc in non conference games but I know other people don’t cheer for our conference and I’m ok with that. I also know that some fans hate the acc but I respect their reasons for hating them. You won’t see me going around calling the acc haters “coots” saying that “oH YOu HAte thE ACc. YoU mUst bE a COOT! OnlY cOots hATe the Acc! COOT!” No cause that would be stupid.
I don’t care if you have a different opinion from me but if you come onto my post and act like an ahole falsely accusing me of something I’m not. Then you bet your bottom dollar delusional *ss that I’m gonna stick up for my self. There is a big difference between getting upset just because of someone has a different opinion then you and getting upset when someone falsely accuses you of something. Big difference.
I treat people on here with respect but if you act like an ahole and call me names then all that respect goes out the window. I can respect other people opinions but I won’t respect people who act like aholes.

I pull for the other teams in the ACC in things like the playoffs or the baseball regionals because we need to do well against the SEC and BIG 10.

Yea I understand that. And I knew that people were gonna come at me in this post. It’s just I’ve been dealing with these people for the past several weeks heckling and hassling me to the point that I just had to make just 1 post calling them out on their BS. I’m done after this. I’ve said all I wanted to say. I just had to call these people out just once. No point in me making another post about it
One funny thing I will mention though is that these people have no problem making fun of me for trivial reasons but when I call them out on it they get upset. So you can easily make fun of someone but get offended when they stick up for them selves? That’s laughable.
But after that being said I’m done with this topic. Like I said I already said everything I wanted to say in my 1 post about this topic and if you don’t agree with my reasonings on why I think it’s stupid to call people coots for trivial reasons then it doesn’t matter what else I say. They’re still gonna believe what they believe. So this will be my one and only post talking about it. And now I’m done.

Yea right now I have 2 people on here that I would say are my “enemies” one that is delusional and likes to call me a “coot” cause he doesn’t like people that has a deference of opinion then his and another one who called me a Nazi because I reported someone for being homophobic. What’s funny is that tnet actually took my side and took down his Nazi comments to me and apparently gave him a warning. I’m not sure if that warning worked though cause he’s still heckling me. But I do agree that the people heckling me are just a small percentage of tnetters. I think most people on here are sane. Theres just a loud minority of people who likes to make fun of people for stupid reasons and then these same people get upset when the person they are heckling calls them out on it. But your right that is life. If you know enough people then at least a few of them will find a way to hate you for some stupid reason.

I forward support the ACC. I have for more than 40 years.
I conducted an extensive study and found that when the word COOT is used on tigernet, 89.56% of the time it’s used with no confirmation the accused has any history of dirtpecking.
I also confirmed that 72.87% of the time the word is used by a wannabe Clemson fan with the intellect of a second grader.

I’ve also seen people call other posters on here coots too just because they support the acc. Here is the post I was talking about.
