I'm usually a "pumper" when it comes to recruits, but this one doesn't hit for me. Not seeing any pop behind his pads, hand usage, or coverage skills. Just a raw rangy kid who gets a bunch of J.O.P. (jump on pile) tackles. He does have a motor and looks to have solid athletic build. Maybe in 2-3 years he becomes a baller like his brother. Definitely think he'll be a contributor on special teams with his motor and hustle though.

He knocks down quite a few passes in excellent coverage in the film I watched. He looks like a LB/Nickel hybrid that is helpful with today's offenses.

I respect your opinion, it will be interesting to look back in a 3 - 4 years to see how he turned out. It’s all a guessing game but good genes usually is an indicator but you never know, Hunter Renfrow had a brother too.
